Great for dog walking, just watch out for the wild horses and cows if your dog is a chaser. Our dog loves going in the water and mud so have a towel handy if yours are the same, there is plenty of opportunity for them to get dirty.
The park is a lovely place to be. Banners Gate side more open and mere green side more trees. Has been left fairly natural, can be busy on weekends. Some hills but not too dramatic. Only down side needs more dog bins on Banners Gate / Parson and Clark side.
Beautiful...a great Sunday walk with Lovely autumn hues. Friendly locals and a great cafe to have a treat after a couple of hours of walking. Easy parking too!
Stunning park with plenty for walkers, cyclists and families. We'll worth a visit any time of the year. Options for eating in the park or take a picnic (please take your rubbish home!). Enjoy its beauty...
