Always very busy, which isn't helped when the waiter brings his friends in past you, had a VERY long wait before even being asked what we wanted to drink after having to call someone over because we were thirsty, we had booked a table but had no apology for late service......saying all that the food was to die for, superb!!!! Fresh & tasty so we will be going back, just hppe the service/wait is better
Great authentic Italian restaurant, the team working there seem like a family, very well may be and clearly take pride their work and establishment. The Garlic bread mozzarella to start is a must. Been going for years and never had a negative experience or a bad dish
Came here after an afternoon watching the rugby wanting some good food and good atmosphere - nothing too fussy. We were not disappointed. The food tasted great, the waiters were friendly and knowledgeable; their claims of the 'worlds best garlic bread' may not be 100% accurate but it was really very very good. Seemed like a popular destination for romantic meals as well as family gatherings. Seems to get busy Friday/Saturday so i would recommend to book ahead. Will be back again.
Always a delight to visit. Friendly staff and well prepared Italian food from pizzas, pastas and specials. Always well patronised, which speaks for itself. A must try venue.
I've been eating here on and off for over 20 years. We went on NYE and had a gorgeous meal. I had the scallops followed by pan fried Dover sole in a butter and rosemary sauce. Delicious! The pizzas and pasta dishes are extremely tasty. Staff are warm and friendly. You can eat in and they also offer a take out service which is really popular, especially for the pizzas. You won't be disappointed.
