Easy to miss (because it's on the main road, rather than within the Mulberry Walk development), but the best of the coffee shops in Mere Green.
Great coffee and choice of food at really good prices. The staff were so helpful and friendly too. Will definitely be back. Beautiful place :)
It was so quiet in here but there was a band playing and the staff were lovely. There could be more beers on tap, like a pale ale, but for a drink or two this was just right. I have no idea why it was so dead on Friday night, especially with such a defend band playing!
Really nice food, let down by poor service.Visited on a weekday night with a friend for tapas. There was only ONE one other party in the restaurant, whod already been served their food and were finishing up when we arrived. It wasnt clear if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated, or if we should order at the bar or wait to have our orders taken at the bar. (I presume it should have been table service because when I went to order at the bar they didnt take payment.) The member of staff looking after front of house was mostly chatting very loudly to his mates at the bar throughout our time there. They were out of the ingredients for the drink I wanted so I had to have something different. Our order took 30 minutes to arrive, which seems a long time for tapas for 2, when it was the only order the kitchen had to prepare. I dont know how long youd have to wait if there were any other customers in the restaurant. The food when it arrived was very very good, but this was let down by the poor service and the long wait. There was also the remains of the mornings trade left around the restaurant, in particular the larger part of somebodys cake was on the floor under our table.
Nice, fashionable interior and trendy, relaxed atmosphere. My tea was nice however I found the food to be overpriced and lacklustre. I had the aromatic breakfast which was nearly 9 and which was actually quite a small plate of food with most of the space taken up by a dish of beans (maybe 2-3 tbsp) while most of the rest of the plate was one potato and 1-2 scrambled eggs and a muffin. For 9 this seems poor value for money. However the cakes were better value for money at around 3, and I thought they were quite nice and sweet with some slightly different flavours.
