Nice atmosphere. Drinks seem unreasonably priced and I had to go to the bar twice to sort out a hot drinks order. Otherwise, no complaints.
Walked in. Waiting several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Told 20 minutes wait. Went to bar. Again several minutes waiting to be served. Just 30 seconds before being served a lady approached the bar. Staff walked past us a few times while we waited and then has the cheek to ask her what she wanted. The lady told them we was 1st. Absolute joke! Food good as usual. Waitress really friendly and then comes gratitude time. After today's performance 0. Waitress swiftly disappeared and the friendly waitresses smile disappeared. Oh well. The 20 I would of tipped went towards me waiting around to be served. Times money people!
Great steak restaurant with excellent food, menu has a good choice of different types of steaks. Very popular place especially on weekends booking definitely recommend. Service is really good considering how busy it gets. It's one our favourite local places for our family to eat out because of the good food and service. The only down side is the car park, it's big enough but the spaces are tight and it does get full, apart from that it's a great place to eat especially if you can get a table over looking the lake.Great food, service and location highly recommend especially if you love steaks.
Christmas Day lunch at Miller and Carter is now a staple tradition in my family. The lunch was fantastic, I particularly liked the main, as it wasn't too much. There was plenty of it, but none of us felt stuffed. It meant that we could enjoy our puddings. The staff were lovely, and kept a nice festive vibe going, without being too intruding.
Excellent meal and service as usual . Never had a bad steak here in ten years, Including Christmas day! Great food and atmosphere the only downside is that you can't always get a table at short notice. Don't change a thing!
