Possibly the most dissatisfying retail experience my family and I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. We have A LOT of apple products in our household and we took a MacBook Pro with a damaged screen for repair (no complaints against Apple, the damage was caused by a drop).The repair costs were quite high (in comaprison to simply purchasing new) so we decided against. We would have simply purchased a new MacBook there and then, if not for the extremely rude and poor mannered store manager James, who felt it was perfectly acceptable to speak to us like something he had trodden in on the street from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. AVOID this store like the plague and make the extra effort to visit the real Apple Store in Birmingham, as we will do from now on.
I truly love this branch. I came here to purchase an iPad and in addition I found love and hospitality. The staff are great and very helpful, especially James he truly is a gentlemen, he is very knowledgeable, approachable and charming. Bless his cotton socks. xId also like to thank Will and Jack, a treat to look at.
UPDATE: With regards to your response below, I have already raised a CS case with you. 3 DAYS AGO. Still no response! Do you treat all your customers like this? I can't tell if this shop is here as a joke or they are just THAT bad? Went in on Sunday to get my battery replaced as per the 25 deal Apple have on at the moment. Left it with them for an hour and took my partner for dinner. We returned to the shop after the time we'd been told, from which I was told they'd actually broken my phone! They didn't apologise or anything, said it'd be sent away for repair and that I would get a lease phone Monday if apple were okay to repair. No biggie right? One day without a phone is fine. WRONG. My partner rang them Monday and they said they won't know until Wednesday now. So another 3 days with no phone. Tried to call them again today for an update and they're not picking up the phone at all!All of this faff and I'm still charged for the battery replacement too! No reimbursement, no lease phone, especially whilst I'm in the mid-stages of purchasing a house, and can't contact my solicitor, mortgage advisor, no one! BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A PHONE! I'm paying a contract that I can't utilise either! Just to put it into perspective, my mum/dad could be in hospital right now, I wouldn't know though!This is still on-going. Staff were rude, unhelpful, clearly trained how to repair phones by cavemen, as the damage to my phone was done through the "heavy handed" approach. Should have just gone to the store in Solihull. I will update this the more that Stormfront do to make my life even harder, as is their way it would seem.At present, I recommend you not give this circus act your hundreds of pounds valued phone, as they will knacker it and do nothing for you for reimbursement. Thanks a lot guys. I'm getting Apple involved at this point. How they accredited this shop is a mystery. They clearly don't know what they're doing.
Once upon a cold November morning, I awoke to find my mini-hooman had disabled my iPhone. Initially the severity of this situation had not sunk in, it wasn't until my cup of coffee was empty and I felt the caffeine surge through my veins and I went to check to latest tweet from Taylor Swift that I knew, I needed help. Having rushed myself ready, I arrived to the store is a dizzying panic - 'have i lost everything?!','is Taylor swift still alive?!' I cried to the staff member. I needed answers that only my iPhone could usually provide for me. "No need to panic" said the employee, calmly and comfortingly. "I'm with you all the way, I will use every resource available to me to rectify this issue" he said. I knew i was in safe hands. After confirming that I had been backing up my device like a conforming Apple user should do, he explained that simply they needed to reset the phone and then log back in with my iCloud password (Which, of course I knew as I has set up my own device so I had no need for a scrap piece of paper full of random expired passwords that I keep in a drawer somewhere in my house) and all would be restored. So a VERY reasonable 10 service charge and approx 15-30 mins later, I returned to the sales persons beaming smile which instantly told me the procedure was a success. All in all, a very positive experience. I would like to thank all the members of staff in there who are working hard to please customers, such as i, while adhering to Apple policies and remaining honest and professional (unlike those Carphone warehouse staff, am i right?!) The MOST helpful shop I have visited in a long time. The service we received from Molly was outstanding. She put up with my "old person" non tech questions and the other extreme she dealt with my very enthusiastic 17 year old. WE WILL BE BACK!
