Lovely little Travelodge in the centre of lots of Great food and drink places. Very quick check in and quiet location. With a little carpark that can get quite full as it is shared with the Harvester. The rooms were a great size,I cannot say anything bad about the hotel.
I booked this through their own website, and when it offered me a cooked breakfast for 5 days I accepted and paid online. On reaching the hotel a few weeks later they told me that cooked breakfast was not on offer at that hotel. The hotel staff were great and went back and forth to the head office by email, they finally told me that it was my fault for paying online on through their website for a cooked breakfast that wasn't applicable at this hotel. So I ask travelodge how can it be my fault that they sold me an incorrect and likely illegal 5 days of breakfast. Still they have not replied to me personally, refused to apologise or refund my money for what is their own fault for false selling.I am quite happy to trash the name of travelodge for extremely poor and rude customer service and ripping off their customers for the sake of a quick buck. In today's world reputation is everything and I would not expect this kind of business to do well.Please stay away and prefer places that take care of their customer's satisfaction instead.
Will never stay here or recommend. Dirty bed sheets.Not enough towels for s family of 4. Other quests were loud and management were not able to quiet them.
Sunday 5th August 2018 - attended to by Alison who was very good at her job. Pleasant and nothing too much trouble. We really appreciated her warmth. Sutton Coldfield Travel Lodge.
It was a cheap room for the night. We had all we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast box is a good scam. 5.25 for a breakfast bar, small cornflakes, pint of milk and a muffin. We found out later you could get a cooked breakfast but it was quite deer.
