This is my local pub. However it isn't somewhere I'd pick if going out with friends. Can get a little load, be it either the dj/quiz or in the other bar where the pool table is and the music is cranked up. Great if you want music, not if you want conversation, so expect to shout some words it feels.
I had fish and chips with mushy peas. I could have done with a few more chips. The fish was delicious. Then I had chocolate brownie with vanilla pod ice cream. Yum!
Nice relaxed atmosphere.Matt is a fantastic manager he interacts with visitors and it had rubbed off on his staff.Best bar and restaurant in the area.
Popped in for quick drink on way home. Nice atmosphere and staff friendly. Food looked good too. Not eaten here for a while but will definitely come back. Only negative is that smokers stand outside front door like a blockade and have to ask to get out, this is a regular occurence which is shame.
